Ferrari apologizes for employee filmed doing donuts in China

Ferrari issued an apology on Wednesday after one of its employees was filmed doing donuts in a 458 Italia 20th Anniversary Special Edition on the 600-year-old Ming Dynasty wall in the city of Nanjing. The online community has been up in arms, with users of Wiebo, China's version of Twitter, being allowed to complain the loudest. Much of the anger was directed at the Chinese government, which rented the wall for the occasion at a cost of $12,000.

There’s little to choose between the S6 and S6 Avant in performance terms, just as you’d expect, with both cars featuring Audi’s new 4.0 litre TFSI V8 with 420bhp and 406lb/ft of torque (that’s the same V8 we will see in the Bentley Continental GT – and probably at Frankfurt too). That’s enough to take the S6 to 62mph in just 4.8 seconds, with the S6 Avant just the smallest bit behind at 4.9 seconds, and on to an electronically governed 155mph.

Will the new Mokka help GM in Europe Despite reports that GM Europe are planning closures at Vauxhall and Opel, GM boss says there will be no closures before 2014. GM in Europe are not having an easy time of things, with both Vauxhall and Opel struggling for sales as the car market in Europe polarises and the mainstream car makers struggle. GM have made some moves to consolidate their European operation with a co-operation agreement with Peugeot Citroen, but that deal has more of a sticking plaster feel to it than a real way to fix the issues of over-production in a difficult European market.
